Get your free estimateMeet the San Diego Team Behind Cold Harbour Heating and Air San Diego
We’re a small San Diego crew, and that’s on purpose. Every technician who walks through your door lives in this county, drives these freeways, and knows what a coastal microclimate does to a condenser coil. No rotating cast of subcontractors. No “the office will send someone.” When you call Cold Harbour Heating and Air San Diego, the person on the phone and the person at your door answer to Victor Mancini directly, and we’ve worked together long enough to finish each other’s sentences about static pressure.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Victor Mancini, Owner & Lead HVAC Technician
Victor founded Cold Harbour Heating and Air San Diego in 2003 after cutting his teeth on commercial rooftop units across Southern California. He’s the one who still rides along on the difficult diagnostic calls because, as he puts it, “the weird ones are why you stay sharp.” Victor holds an EPA 608 Universal certification and has torn down and rebuilt systems from all nine major residential brands we service, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. He’s the author of the written standards every Kingswell-affiliated shop follows, and he still hand-signs the 365-Day Done Right Promise on every repair that leaves our San Diego shop. Off the clock, he’s restoring a 1968 Chevy C10 in his garage and will absolutely talk your ear off about it if you mention trucks.
Marcus T., Senior Installer
Marcus runs our AC installation crew and has been with Cold Harbour since 2014. He’s NATE-certified in air conditioning installation and is the reason our installs pass city inspection the first time, every time, whether we’re working in a 1950s bungalow in North Park or a new build out in Otay Ranch. Marcus is meticulous about duct sealing and airflow, which matters in San Diego where undersized returns are practically a local architectural tradition. Before HVAC, he worked as a finish carpenter, and it shows in his sheet metal work. He’s also the guy who makes sure the jobsite is cleaner when we leave than when we arrived, a point of pride he enforces on every single install.
Elena R., Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone at Cold Harbour Heating and Air San Diego. She’s answered calls for us since 2011 and knows our service area by heart, from La Jolla to Spring Valley to Rancho Bernardo. Live-person coverage is not a routing trick with Elena. She knows which technician is closest, what parts are on the trucks, and how to talk a panicked homeowner through a condensate overflow at 2 a.m. while the on-call tech is en route. Elena keeps the dispatch board sane during our July and August heat waves and has a sixth sense for scheduling repairs in a way that respects your time. She’s an Encinitas native and will happily recommend a taco shop if you ask, though she’ll insist hers is the only correct answer.
Danny P., Apprentice Technician
Danny joined us in 2022 after completing his HVAC coursework at San Diego City College. He rides with Victor or Marcus on most service calls and installs, logging the hours and repetition that turn textbook knowledge into a reliable pair of hands. Danny is EPA 608 certified and is working toward his NATE certification, and he’s already earned the right to run basic maintenance tune-ups on his own. He’s the first one into a crawlspace in Clairemont and the last one to complain about attic work in August. Danny grew up in Chula Vista and is the reason our Spanish-language service notes are as thorough as the English ones.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Kingswell shop operates by the same five values, and in San Diego we hold to them without exception. We say the price before the work, in writing, and it doesn’t change at the door. We show up in the window we gave you, not a four-hour approximation that swallows your afternoon. We leave your home cleaner than we found it, drop cloths and shoe covers included. We put the repair guarantee on paper, every time, covering the work for a full 365 days. And if something we fixed fails inside that year, we come back and correct it at no charge, no argument. That’s why Victor hand-signs every guarantee before the technician leaves the job. Marcus, Danny, and Elena know the standard because they’re the ones keeping it. It’s not a poster on a break-room wall. It’s how we run every call in San Diego county.
